How to get around the desert
Most tours use 4x4 pickups driven by local Bedouin guides who know every canyon and viewpoint. Camel treks are a slower, atmospheric alternative for part of the route.
For the adventurous, scrambling and rock bridges add a hands-on element; we match the difficulty to your group.
Where to sleep
Camps range from simple traditional tents to “bubble” domes with transparent ceilings for stargazing from bed. We recommend options to match your budget and comfort level.
Whatever you choose, nights are cooler than you expect, even in summer — pack a warm layer.
